Where We Work, and What Changes From One City to the Next
Firefly Landscape Contractors LLC has worked across South Florida since 2001, from Naples on the Gulf side to the barrier islands off Miami. Twenty-three years in one region teaches you that "South Florida conditions" is not one thing. Soil changes block to block. A drainage plan that works in Homestead fails in Pembroke Pines. Salt reaches inland further in Dania Beach than it does in Pinecrest.
That is why we keep a dedicated page for each city rather than one generic service area list. The work is genuinely different in each, and so is the permitting. Below is where we work and what tends to govern a project there. Every service is delivered by the same certified crews, whether the job is landscaping, pond construction, fountain design and construction, waterfall construction, living wall construction or landscape lighting installation.
Miami Beach
Barrier-island work: salt spray, shifting sand and fixtures that have to be marine grade to last a season.

Coral Gables
The Board of Architects reviews exterior work here, and the banyan canopy along Old Cutler Road is protected. Both shape what gets built.

Coconut Grove
Older lots, deep tree cover and narrow access. Drainage and root protection decide most of the plan.

South Miami
Mature live oaks the city regulates, and mid-century homes on established streets.

Pinecrest
Acre-plus properties under heavy oak canopy, where work has to be planned in zones rather than one run.

Pembroke Pines
Former Everglades wetland with a high water table, planned communities and HOA guidelines to design around.

Dania Beach
Coastal Broward lots close to the Intracoastal, where wind and salt reach further inland than owners expect.
Homestead
Open agricultural land, exposed sun and limestone close to the surface.
Naples
Our Collier County base, on the Gulf side. Different soil, different rainfall pattern, same crews.
One Team From Planning Through Maintenance
Wherever the property is, the same company handles the design, the permitting coordination, the plant sourcing, the build and the follow-up. That matters most on the parts of a project that usually go wrong at a hand-off: drainage that was somebody else's scope, a lighting run trenched through a root zone, a pond filter sized for a smaller system than the one that got built.
We also keep the maintenance side in-house, through pond maintenance and fountain maintenance programs, because a water feature that nobody services stops being an asset within about two seasons. If you are not sure which page fits your property, get in touch and we will point you to the right one — or just walk the site with you.
